President Donald Trump spoke with first responders and officials in central Texas today after meeting with grieving families and surveying damage from the catastrophic floods that killed at least 129 people.
The governor said Tuesday that the state had “assets, resources and personnel” in place before the July 4 floods. On Wednesday evening, the death toll rose to 120.
Kerr County officials say they are still focused mainly on the search for survivors with hundreds still missing and weren't yet examining how the emergency response unfolded.
