The survey also found that Republicans were 5 percentage points less likely to strongly support Trump when compared to the April poll results. According to NBC News, most of the drop comes from MAGA Republicans who shifted their opinions into the “somewhat approve” category.

"This is simply put, been one of the worst polling weeks for Donald Trump that we've seen. Awful, awful, awful," CNN's pollster Harry Enten said.

Among Republicans, 89% approve of the second term in office, compared to eight percent of Democrats and 35% of Independents.
