Barcelona reportedly made an important decision with Lamine Yamal following the controversy involving Real Madrid. Barcelona’s defeat in El Clasico against Real Madrid last Sunday was not only a setback in the battle for the top of the La Liga standings but also appears to have had repercussions in other areas of the Catalan side.

After the final whistle in Sunday’s 2-1 painful defeat in El Clasico, Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal went to shake hands with Real Madrid captain Dani Carvajal.

As revealed by Sofascore, Szczęsny recorded the highest match rating (9.6) by any Barcelona player in an El Clásico fixture since all the way back in 2017.
