WWE WrestleMania returns to the Superdome in 2026. On Friday's episode of WWE SmackDown, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson formally announced that WrestleMania 42 will take place in New Orleans on April 11 and April 12.

WrestleMania 42 is coming to New Orleans next year. Movie star and wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, in town to make an appearance on WWE's Smackdown underway at the Smoothie King Center, made the announcement from center ring before a roaring crowd Friday night.

The Rock moves the needle. On Friday night, The Rock made a return appearance on WWE's SmackDown in New Orleans to announce that WrestleMania would return
