MIAMI GARDENS ― The Miami Dolphins traded up in the second round of the NFL Draft to select guard Jonah Savaiinaea of Arizona. Savaiinaea is 6-foot-4, 324 pounds, and should immediately starter at left guard for the Dolphins.

The Miami Dolphins reached the NFL playoffs in Mike McDaniel's first two years at the helm, but the team failed to win a game in either postseason. In 2024, it took a step backward with an 8-9 finish that left them on the outside looking in on the AFC playoff bracket.
