Reacting to Schwarzenegger's Emmy snub, one user wrote on X (formerly called Twitter), “ Patrick Schwarzenegger not being nominated is diabolical when he gave the best male performance of this season." Another added, “Nominating The White Lotus for a bazillion awards but leaving out Patrick Schwarzenegger is… a choice. Big thumbs down!!”
The White Lotus' matched its previous Emmy tally with 23 noms, seeing first-time nominees in Scott Glenn, Jason Isaacs and Aimee Lou Wood.
“White Lotus” ladies Leslie Bibb and Michelle Monaghan also missed out on nominations, but their on-screen bestie Carrie Coon scored a nod in the Supporting Actress category, as did co-stars Parker Posey, Aimee Lou Wood and Natasha Rothwell.
Somebody, somewhere voted for Everett, so tender and vulnerable and utterly charming on this now-ended HBO series, one that seems destined for a long life of cult appreciation along the lines of “Enlightened,” created by (yes) Mike White.
