A teenager was rescued by Cal Fire crews after he got stuck in a mine shaft in the Auburn State Recreation Area on Monday, according to California State Parks.

A man who works as a police officer in Tracy was arrested in Stockton after a domestic-related call, authorities say.

The Stockton Police Department, the arresting agency, says it followed up on a domestic-related call, which then led to the arrest of Officer Steve Flores.
