Following the deadly crash of a UPS cargo plane in Louisville, Kentucky, Channel 2 Action News Investigates started looking into the safety history of the type of plane involved and the UPS fleet.

Nine people remain missing after a UPS plane departing Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport in Kentucky on Tuesday crashed, killing at least 12 people.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Videos from phones, cars and security cameras captured the tragic final moments of a UPS cargo plane as it caught fire and crashed in a massive explosion just outside Louisville’s airport, killing at least 12 people and carving a path of destruction on the ground.

Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg said the 14th victim was found at the crash site Friday evening. UPS has identified the plane's three crew members as Captain Richard Wartenberg, First Officer Lee Truitt and International Relief Officer Captain Dana Diamond.

The National Transportation Safety Board is providing an update on their investigation into the UPS plane crash.

Officers responded to a small plane crash near Victory Rd. and Orchard Rd. in Boise at 6:41 p.m. No fatalities have been reported.

Deputies are on scene at the Keystone Airport for a stunt plane that crashed during a flight Saturday afternoon, according to the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office.

BOISE, Idaho — Two people had non-life-threatening injuries Saturday evening when a small plane crashed outside Boise Airport. The Boise Fire and Boise Police, in a joint statement to KTVB, said the crash happened near the intersection of Orchard Street, Victory Road and West Wright Street in Boise.
