A fireworks display was held in Ho Chi Minh City to mark the end of the Vietnam War on April 30, 1975, when the South Vietnamese capital of Saigon fell to Communist forces.
It is our second day on Discovery Bicycle Tours’ 12-day Vietnam tour. From here, we drive a couple of hours to the Thung Nham Ecotourism Zone where we travel by traditional boat into a bird sanctuary.
