A tropical system that caused flash flooding earlier this week may loop back to Florida next week, bringing renewed flood risks.

A slow-developing, broad area of low pressure located over the far northern portion of the Gulf is threatening to bring heavy rain and flooding.

Invest 93L still has a chance to become a tropical depression or tropical storm near the Gulf Coast, but regardless of development, it will dump heavy rain across coastal Louisiana and Mississippi that could lead to flash flooding.
