Southwest Airlines will start nonstop flights to Austin, Texas out of Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) in October, the airport announced on X Thursday afternoon. Southwest will start offering the service Oct.

Travelers will soon be able to catch a nonstop Southwest Airlines flight from the Jacksonville International Airport to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

Southwest Airlines will begin nonstop service from Jacksonville International Airport to Austin, Texas, starting Oct. 2. Southwest and the Jacksonville Aviation Authority announced the service Feb. 6. The flights will be available Sunday through Thursday.
