LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - The suspect in a killing in Lynchburg was taken into custody Monday. Lynchburg Police allege 63-year-old John Levi Snead shot and killed 52-year-old David L. Vaughter of Lynchburg December 18, 2025. Snead was arrested January 5, 2025.
