The Toronto Raptors have been one of the early surprises of the season, currently sitting fifth in the Eastern Conference with a 15-11 record. The frontcourt duo of Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram is responsible for most of that success, averaging a combined 41.3 points, 13.6 rebounds, and 9.1 assists per game.

New York won 117-101 in Toronto and Orlando beat Miami 117-108 to earn berths in the NBA Cup semifinals in Las Vegas. The Knicks and Magic will face off at 5:30 p.m. ET on Saturday for the right to play in the NBA Cup championship.

On Wednesday night, the Philadelphia 76ers are set to take the floor for the third matchup of their first-round series against the Toronto Raptors. This past weekend, the Sixers and the Raptors tipped off the series with a matchup in South Philly.

The Pelicans also snapped a seven-game losing streak in their last time out, defeating the Portland Trail Blazers 143-120 on Thursday. The group outscored the Trail Blazers 73-52 in the second half, shooting 56.
