Chicago drive-by shooting outside Near North Side bar injures 4; alderman calls for bar to close
Four people were hurt in a drive-by shooting overnight outside a bar in the Near North Side, Chicago police said.
A 14-year-old boy was injured after an unknown offender fired shots in their direction, striking him in the leg around 4:19 p.m. in the 100 block of South Wells Street, Chicago police said. The victim was taken to Lurie Children's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Gold Coast shooting: 4 wounded in Chicago drive-by, police say
CHICAGO - A drive-by shooting early Friday left four people hurt in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood, police said. The shooting happened around 3:48 a.m. in the 1100 block of North Dearborn Street, according to Chicago police. Investigators said a gray Acura sedan pulled up and someone inside opened fire on people standing on the sidewalk.
A 14-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting on Friday afternoon in the Loop in downtown Chicago. Police said, around 4:20 p.m. the boy was standing on the sidewalk in the 100 block of South Wells Street, under the elevated CTA tracks in the Loop, when someone shot him in the leg.
It was a gutsy performance for the Vancouver Canucks tonight, as they have officially won their second game in as many days with a 3–2 shootout victory against the Chicago Blackhawks.
