Kilmar Abrego Garcia was taken to El Salvador on March 15 because of what the Trump administration has called an "administrative error."

A federal judge will hear arguments Friday in the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Maryland father who the Trump administration admitted was erroneously deported to a prison in El Salvador.

Attorneys for the man, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, will ask U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis at a 1 p.m. hearing to force the administration to ask El Salvador to return him to the U.S. and to bar the government from continuing to pay El Salvador to detain him.
