Star German midfielder Jamal Musiala is back training with Bayern Munich on Sunday after he went off only 25 minutes after entering Friday night’s Club World Cup match for Bayern Munich and was substituted by national team veteran Thomas Müller in the 82nd minute.

Bayern Munich clinched their advancement to the FIFA Club World Cup Round of 16 with their 2-1 win over Boca Juniors in Miami, but they had to dig deep to take the full three points. Michael Olise’s 84th-minute goal cancelled out Miguel Merentiel’s 66th minute equalizer after Bayern had been 1-0 and in cruise control after Harry Kane fired them ahead in the 18th minute of the first half.

Bayern Munich face Boca Juniors on Matchday 2 of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, and with so much at stake, they’ll need their biggest stars on the pitch. However, one question is emerging among fans: Why aren’t Thomas Müller and Jamal Musiala starting?
