The legal saga against the man who murdered four University of Idaho students may have ended Wednesday, when he was sentenced to life in prison without parole. But new details about the case are still emerging,
The convicted murderer appears gaunt and expressionless in the photo, taken as he begins to serve out multiple life sentences for the murders of four University of Idaho students: Xana Kernodle, 20; Ethan Chapin, 20; Madison Mogen, 21; and Kaylee Goncalves, 21.
The family of Kaylee Goncalves, one of the four University of Idaho students killed by Bryan Kohberger in 2022, railed against him as a “joke,” a “loser,” and “as dumb as they come” in a day of searing victim impact statements.
This new information comes from two friends of Kaylee Goncalves who spoke with police in interviews that were just unsealed by the Moscow Police Department.
Bryan Kohberger, who pleaded guilty to the murders of four University of Idaho students, is expected to serve his life sentence at a facility called one of the "15 worst prisons in America."
