Ten people have been charged with public order offences after pro-Palestinian protesters allegedly breached protest conditions as they marched from a rally in Whitehall to Trafalgar Square, breaking through a police line in the process.

Police have made seven arrests at a pro-Palestine rally in central London on Saturday while a women’s march is also making its way through the capital. Some of the hundreds gathered for the Gaza rally were heard to shout disapproval as officers were seen to lay a woman on the floor as the event began from midday.
