Bueckers — with her Dallas Wings teammates beside her — threw out the first pitch prior to Wednesday’s game between the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals at Globe Life Field. She tossed a strike to Rangers first base coach Corey Ragsdale and to her delight “didn’t hit the dirt.”

The Dallas Wings won their first home game of the season Tuesday night, 80-71 over the Golden State Valkyries.

Wings rookie Paige Bueckers seems to be settling into her new Texas environment well as she tossed out the first pitch at a Rangers game.
