Cowboys fans’ dream of seeing Coach Prime as their next head coach seems to be fading, as new names surface in the search.

Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones held court with the media following the team’s introductory press conference for new head coach Brian Schottenheimer.

The former Cowboy and current Colorado Buffaloes head coach has been adamant about his intent to stay in Boulder at the collegiate level, which he reinforced Monday through a statement via ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Colorado finished the season with a 9-4 record and a 7-2 mark in Big 12 play. They were listed as the No. 4 team in the Big 12 standings, just two years after the program went 1-11. While the Buffaloes have been extremely successful under Sanders between the white lines, that success has also extended to the classroom.

Glenn was an assistant coach in Seattle from 2012 to 2023, serving in several roles, including coaching linebackers. He was an assistant special teams coach for the Washington Commanders this past season.

The Colorado coach has said he would guide his son's landing spot in the league, but that might not be necessary.
