Louis Vuitton's show during Paris Fashion Week always provides us with best-in-class celebrity sightings, and this season was hardly the exception. At yesterday's show were musicians like Lisa and Haim as well as actors Saoirse Ronan, Sophie Turner, Ava DuVernay, Emma Stone, Phoebe Dynevor, and Who What Wear's August 2024 cover star Adria Arjona.

Just days after an unexploded World War II bomb near Paris' Gare du Nord briefly stole headlines, a different kind of spectacle unfolded across the street: Louis Vuitton’s fashion show extravaganza Monday evening.

The rise of office appropriate clothing was on my mind as I perused through the new Louis women’s collection. Options such as a mid-length green frock worn with a pair of sleek brown leather knee-high boots and an oversized camel wool coat offered a compelling take on office attire.

The offering was invigorating and intoxicating, full of life and an assortment of idea-packed looks that moved between the highly wearable (see: technical outerwear with subtle Vuitton stamping) and the lushly transportive.

Louis Vuitton’s latest show transformed a Parisian station into a theatrical runway, channelling vintage travel aesthetics. While the vision was striking, some experimental designs risked overshadowing the collection’s narrative.
