The latest agreement between OpenAI and Oracle will expand Stargate’s data center capacity, ultimately surpassing the halfway point of their goal.
OpenAI has been named as the customer behind Oracle ’s recently announced $30 billion-per-year cloud computing contract, with the tech company leasing approximately 4.5 gigawatts of data center power to support its expanding AI workloads. Oracle first announced the contract earlier in July, though it did not initially name the client.
