Alaska Airlines resumed operations after issuing a nationwide ground stop for eight hours following a "significant IT outage," the airline said.
The airline said in a statement that it was "experiencing an IT outage affecting operations" and had "issued a temporary ground stop."
Alaska Airlines said late on Oct. 23 that it was restoring operations after grounding flights for about three hours due to an unspecified technology outage. "We are actively restoring our operations following an IT outage," the airline said on social media.
