Scottie Scheffler finally won his first PGA Tour event of 2025 and 14th overall, claiming a nice check at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson.

Scheffler went wire to wire just outside his home in Dallas to pick up his first win of the season and 14th of his PGA Tour career

Twenty-two years ago, Scheffler had his picture taken with Nelson, a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame, at this event. Shown the picture following his victory, he said of Nelson, "He was great for the game of golf.
