With Sunday's 29-21 win over the New York Giants, Washington's eight-game losing streak was over. In true Commanders' fashion, they didn't make it easy, almost fumbling away a 15-point lead midway through the fourth quarter.
Dan Quinn had a graphic message for his team before facing the Giants. The defense responded with "violence" to snap the losing streak.
On Sunday, Washington was able to stay ahead of the chains for long stretches. The Commanders weren’t always successful, but they were able to average nearly four yards a carry and win the time of possession over New York by pounding the ball between the tackles to good effect multiple times.
