Texas A&M coach Mike Elko has brought in a new era of Texas A&M football and has the opportunity to potentially put the nail in one of his former boss’s coffin.

The No. 3 Texas A&M Aggies, led by quarterback Marcel Reed, face the No. 20 LSU Tigers, led by quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025 at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La.

A&M puts up 36 points per game and LSU's defense, that ranks 26th in the country surrendering just 312 yards per game, will have to find a way to slow down Aggie quarterback Marcel Reed and comapny down without its best defensive player in Whit Weeks, who will miss the game with a bone bruise on his right ankle.
