Marvel star Josh Brolin would be up for a return as Thanos in Avengers: Doomsday, if he was asked back as the giant purple bad guy. Brolin played Thanos in multiple MCU movies, culminating in Avengers: Endgame. He also had another role in the Marvel universe as Cable in the second Deadpool movie.

With that, it’s hard not to think about those who portrayed past heroes and villains, like Josh Brolin. He’s now opened up about whether or not he’d like to return as Thanos or Cable, and had a very thoughtful position on the matter.

The update comes from Brolin's recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, where he spoke about his latest theatrical release, Weapons. The psychological horror-thriller film follows Josh Brolin as a man investigating the sudden disappearance of many kids, which includes his son, leading him down a bizarre rabbit hole.
