Well, it can only be Wallace and Gromit's Feathers McGraw of course! A bronze statue of the enigmatic McGraw was unveiled in Preston on Thursday. The statue was unveiled by his creator, Oscar-winning animator Nick Park.

Over the years, Feathers has popped up in other Aardman productions. In the 1995 Wallace and Gromit adventure “A Close Shave,” which also won the Academy Award, when Gromit gets sent to prison, there’s graffiti in his cell that reads “Feathers was ‘ere.” And the character can be seen, for a single frame, in a scene later on in the short.

From the moment he burst back onto our screens on Christmas Day in the latest Wallace and Gromit film, Vengeance Most Fowl, his antics have taken social media by storm. A bronze statue of animated penguin villain Feathers McGraw has been unveiled close to his arch enemies Wallace and Gromit. Crowds gathered in Preston, Lancashire, to watch Nick Park, the creator of the popular film franchise, reveal the 4ft (1.2m) sculpture in his home city and then greet the new artwork with cheers - and then playful boos.
