Princess Kate's visit to the National Portrait Gallery was one of her first outings of the new year after sharing on Jan. 14 that she is in remission from cancer. The royal was outside of the limelight last year after announcing in March 2024, and sharing in September that she completed chemo.

Princess Kate Shares Hand-Drawn Family Portraits The Princess of Wales has posted portrait drawings created by her and her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Kensington Palace shared in the caption on social media that they drew the portraits as "a moment of connection" to "spend time looking at and focusing on one another" while being creative.

Kate, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis made the artwork in a ‘moment of connection’, the princess said. The exercise is tied to Kate’s Shaping Us Framework initiative, which seeks to raise awareness of social and emotional skills.
