The Commanders have already ruled out starting quarterback Jayden Daniels for the MNF game against the Chiefs with a hamstring injury.

Daniels was officially ruled out on Thursday with a low-grade hamstring strain he suffered in last week's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Head coach Dan Quinn said the injury is not significant or long term and that the team wanted Daniels to focus on rehabbing to be ready for Week 9. Daniels has already missed two games this season with a knee injury.
The Commanders need a win to save their season, and they most likely will need to do it without their starting quarterback, Jayden Daniels.
