President Donald Trump will decide in the next two weeks whether the U.S. will get involved in the Israel-Iran air war, the White House said on Thursday, raising pressure on Tehran to come to the negotiating table.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters the President will see through negotiations before deciding whether to strike.

As he weighs his options, Trump is being squeezed by different pressures from forces at home and abroad. The president huddled with advisers in the Situation Room twice already this week, and was set to do so again on Thursday.
