Gait analysis can be difficult, but it’s 100x easier with high resolution slow motion video! Most of what I am showing you is nearly impossible to witness unless you have the proper angle and speed. Thank goodness for technology. I would say I have pretty “normal” gait mechanics with nothing standing out as abnormal. Additionally I don’t have pain anywhere from my feet to my low back. You should be able to detect these, see them, and know immediately why they are there and what their root cause is (centrally in terms of neuro compromise, and peripherally from a biomechanical perspective). This is a tough gait to see and understand. Video (2D visual) of gait always leaves much to be missed and misinterpreted on gait analysis. Hence why we do not care much for video gait analysis, other than to try and show a client a deficit in their gait, whether it be walking or running. And
