Factory lambs made from €145 to €160 in general. A good entry of cull ewes with some serious ewes on offer and these topped out at €209 for 114kg ewes and 2 ewes at 110kgs made €207. Ennis Mart Monday 13th May 2024 Sheep Auction Good size sheep sale today with over 500 sheep on offer. Trade held very strong again in all categories, but some spring lambs were a bit short of flesh. Again a mixed bag in the hogget’s section. A large entry of cull ewes met great demand, especially the fleshed ewes and these made to €242, with the better lots topping €2/kg. Spring Lambs: 10 @ 51.5kgs - €225 - €4.37/kg 10 @ 50.5kgs - €222 - €4.39/kg 12 @ 46kgs - €208 - €4.52/kg 16 @ 47kgs - €210 -
