SYCAMORE CANYON HIKER RESCUE IN NEWBURY PARK: 12:44pm on Saturday afternoon, Ventura County Fire, AMR and Sheriff's Air Squad 9 responded to a ridge near the Sycamore Canyon trail head at Wendy and Potrero in Newbury Park for a hiker rescue. Personnel tended to a female hiker before she was air lifted to the field next to the parking lot. Fire said she had possibly suffered a broken ankle on the trail.
