Violence broke out in Lahore after Punjab Police launched a crackdown on the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) headquarters in a bid to arrest party chief Saad Rizvi. Following the unrest, the Punjab Home Department imposed Section 144 across the province for ten days, citing “credible threats” of terrorist activity. In his Friday address at Jamia Masjid Rehmat-ul-Lil-Alameen, Saad Rizvi announced a “Labbaik Ya Aqsa” Million March from Lahore to the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad. Our correspondent is
