1990: Life after Bergerac. #OnThisDay 1990: Entertainment show Behind the Screen visited the set of crime drama Bergerac during filming of series eight. Guest star Tony Robinson was interviewed alongside regular cast members John Nettles, Terence Alexander, Ben Kershaw and John Telfer. Whilst the actors talked about this being the final series, it was in fact the penultimate outing for Bergerac with a further ninth series filmed in 1991.
